Rinti Kennerfleisch content

1. Omega fatty acids – a healthy trend

A healthy diet requires the right balance of omega 3 and omega 6 unsaturated fatty acids. The meat in Rinti ensures that it contains sufficient omega 6. Ensuring the right balance in accordance with scientific guidelines for healthy dog nutrition requires the addition of oils rich in omega 3. Linseed oil is particular suitable for this purpose.
The Junior varieties are enriched with salmon oil, which is rich in EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). EPA and DHA are polyunsaturated omega 3 fatty acids for healthy puppy brain development.

2. Dietary fibre

In addition, in keeping with the latest scientific findings, we add dietary fibre (from beet). This acts to aid digestion of easily digestible meat feeds, especially in larger or older dogs, and stabilises the sensitive digestive tract in puppies.

3. Meat component

Our products contain a large proportion of meat – up to 70%. The remaining content is composed of:

3.1. Dietary fibre, oil, minerals and vitamins (about 5% in total), precisely tailored to a dog’s daily requirements.

3.2. Water added for manufacturing purposes, to enable the product to be canned.
Some products list this as ‘stock’, because the water mixes with the meat during the cooking process.

3.3. The 400 and 800g cans do not contain carbohydrates such as potato, pasta and rice.

For dog-owners who believe the addition of pasta, rice, potatoes, etc. to meat offers an extra balance, Rinti Gourmet Meat Plus trays (300g) are enriched with carbohydrates.
